TERM 2 PRACTICES
Our weekly practices commence again next Thursday, April 14, with Dr Kathleen McGuire returning as choir master. She will bring along some fabulous new a cappella songs to keep away the winter doldrums.

We will meet, as always, weekly on Thursdays from 1pm – 2pm at the Welsh Church, 320 La Trobe Street starting, 14 April and finishing 23 June 2016.

CHOIR DUES
Cost is $120, with March 2016 Bar Readers able to join at no cost during their reading period. Please contact Courney Bow: courtney.bow@vicbar.com.au or complete the form attached here.

BRING A BUDDY
Newbies are welcome to try out gratis for the first week or two. Please bring along a buddy and see if we can swell our ranks this term.

LAW WEEK PERFORMANCE
We have TWO performances tentatively scheduled for the annual Law Week run by the Victoria Law Foundation:

1) Law Week’s launch event, Wed May 11th. The event will run 6 – 7:30PM at Waldron Hall, County Court.

2) Courts Open Day, Sat May 21 at County Court (further details TBA)

OTHER PERFORMANCES
We’re investigating some new options, such as the foyer of the Family Court. Let us know if you have ideas.

MUSIC

GET ON THE SOUL TRAIN!
From Annemarie Sharry: "My last gig for a while is Sunday 17th April at 1:30pm, conducting SOUTH OF THE RIVER CHOIR along with Jazz Party in downtown Armadale. This show is back by popular demand after performing last Christmas at Memo Hall in St.Kilda…but this time, there’s afternoon tea thrown in! All details below. Love to see you there – kids free! – Annemarie

Armadale Baptist Church, 88 Kooyong Road, Armadale. Doors open: 1pm / Showtime: 1:30pm. Tickets: $20 at the door / cash only / (kids under 16 free)
